How Much Does It Cost To Get Scuba Certified? Private Certification for 1 Private cetification classes are for the people that wish to have 1-on-1 interaction. This is the best way to learn, because I can focus on what you need to work on. $600 per person Private Certification for 2 A private course (as above) for 2 people. $550 per person Private Group Certification for 3 or more A few people who want to learn to dive get together and start a course with me (a minimum of three students and maximum of eight.) You lower the cost by putting together the group of 3 or more people in your class. $495 per person
Refresher Course Two dives with me supervising in order to help you "remember" the habits. Does NOT include boat fees or any equipment - this is just a fee for my time. You may consider including pool time before the dives for an extra fee. $175 per person
Referral Complete your open water requirement dives with me. Includes equipment and 2 boat trips. Includes certification card but you must provide two passport photos. $325 per person A brief pool session followed by two shallow open water dives on reefs to see if you want to "plunge" further into diving and take a certification course. Includes equipment and 2 boat trips. (Please note: you cannot dive on your own after this introduction and the money for this course is for my time and for scuba equipment rental and cannot be applied towards a certification course.) $225 per person
Advanced Open Water Certification Private advanced open water class. This includes 5 dives (equipment NOT included). A deep dive, a wreck dive, a night dive, advanced navigation and search and recovery. You need to obtain and read the Advanced Open Water Diver Manual and be involved in one-on-one lecture. There is NO pool work with this course. $450 per person
Upon completion of any of the above courses you will be required to supply two passport-size photos, one for your certification card and one for my file. Payment Policy: A $150 deposit is due in advance of the first class to reserve my time. The balance is due in full at the end of the first class session. Please make your checks payable to Robin Burr. Refund Policy: No refunds are available once class begins, however, if circumstances do not permit completion of the course within the scheduled time frame, arrangements can be made to make-up missed portions of the course. There will be an additional charge to cover extra classes and/or boat fees. Fees paid on behalf of one student are nontransferable to another student. Please note: you only get certified once, so choose your course of instruction wisely. |
